J.R. and his wife Kim grew up on the east coast, they met at Roberts Wesleyan College where they received undergraduate degrees. Upon graduation, they got married and moved to Southern California where JR began his Masters work and took the position of pastor of student ministries at Light & Life Christian Fellowship.  JR, his wife and five of his friends started Storehouse is the summer of 2001. J.R. has a passion to help people develop a relevant and authentic relationship with Jesus. This desire is the heartbeat behind our church.

In his free time JR will be found on either a snowboard, wakeboard, or a mountain bike, depending on the season. And no matter what season of the year you will find him hanging with his wife (Kim) and three kids (Ryan, Jeremiah, and Nathan).
