The church in America is in crisis. It’s dying. Although the gospel is the good news and Jesus is the hope of the world, thousands of churches are closing their doors. It’s not just church attendance, either. Each year, fewer and fewer Americans identify themselves as Christians. We don’t live in a Christian nation anymore, and even those who claim to be Christians seem to practice some sort of casual Christianity. The trend is just to pick and choose what you want to believe. This type of Christianity is poison. It sucks the life out of the church. It’s not real Christianity at all - at best, it’s weak religion. It seems that in today’s politically correct world, it’s safer to accept anything than it is to really stand for something.

But there is hope. All across our country there are bands of believers who are taking their faith seriously and standing for Jesus. Storehouse Church is among them. When believers confront casual Christianity, big things start to happen. Lives are changed. Movements emerge. Revival takes place. The church goes from being on life support to being fully alive. In this six-part series, we confront casual Christianity and become a Dangerous Church.
